Stop by the Secular Idaho booth at the Hyde Park Fair (Sep 17-19). HOI will be offering books for sale (proceeds to Charitable works program), plus a avriety of information “freebies” for the curious, including complimentary copies of the September issue of Freethought Today.
David Niose of AHA will be speaking on Oct 8th, first at BSU (Humanism and Sexuality) and later at BUUF (Why Humanism?) Dan Barker, co-President of the Freedom From Religion Foundation will be speaking at BSU on Nov 5th.
Van’s class, “Introduction to Humanism”, is a one evening a week class – 7 PM Wednesdays starting Oct 6th, at West Jr High. For more information on the class, contact Boise Schools Community Education.
Regular meetings are the 4th Monday each month at The Flicks Theater on Fulton, upstars in the “Loft” conference room. Conversation and dinner, followed by official business between 6:30 and 7:30, with the evenings presentation/discussion scheduled to start at 7:30 PM. Meetings are open to the public.
