Humanists of Idaho is a non-profit corporation organized to promote ethical, democratic, and naturalistic humanism in the state of Idaho through public awareness, education, and community involvement. Humanists of Idaho is an affiliate member of the American Humanist Association and the Council for Secular Humanism. Both national organizations are members of the International Humanist and Ethical Union. Members have diverse social, religious, and political backgrounds. Our members include both secular and religious humanists, though most of our members are secular humanists. Some are also members of the Boise Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, a spiritual humanist group. Members live throughout Idaho, though most active members live in the Boise area. Humanists of Idaho has existed since the early 1980s. We have been registered with the state of Idaho as a non-profit corporation since 1992, and have been recognized a 501(c)3 non-profit organization since 2003.

Humanists of Idaho is governed by a Board of Directors, consisting of a President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer. Elections are held each year at the May membership meeting. The Board typically meets on the fourth monday of each month, except December. Board meetings usually take place at the Loft of the Flicks Theater on Fulton St. Contact Information Humanists of Idaho
